The donations exempted from Income Tax

Natural Persons

1. All of them, as long as the total value received during a calendar year doesn´t exceed three times the general minimum salary in the geographical area of the taxpayer per year

2. Between spouses or the ones received by the descendants of their direct ascendants, no matter the amount.

3. The ones received by the ascendants from their direct descendants, as long as the goods received are not sold or donated by the ascendant to another direct descendant without limitation of the degree of consanguinity.

Legal Persons

1. Non-expensive or non-remunerative donations given to legal persons authorized to receive deductible donations could be deducted up to an amount that doesn´t exceed 7% of the taxable income obtained in the prior exercise to the one when the deduction takes place.

2. The donations received by a non-tax payer will be exempted from income tax, independently of being or not an authorized done.
